A "nation" of communicators without boundaries, defined only by imaginatively diverse "mindscapes" rather than politically designated "landscapes". A mental domain ruled by free and independent thought, and advanced, but not supplanted by technology.

The purpose of our theme in this Discussion Group is to reveal to ourselves whether people with opposing political, scientific, and spiritual doctrines, philosophies, and ideals (i.e., conservatives vs. liberals; centralists vs. de-centralists; capitalists vs. communists; causalists vs. acausalists; creationists vs. evolutionists; etc.) can openly discuss and debate their agendas with intelligence and with passion, yet with a view toward understanding and tolerance.

It is an experiment to test our ability to utilize this Internet tool we have at our disposal as a means of reducing misunderstanding and conflict in the world, or whether we will instead use this "opportunity" to intensify malice and hatred toward our neighbors in the world. We shall see!

The host/moderator of this Discussion Group makes no claims of authority or expertise in any particular field.  He is merely a student, or CURIOLOGIST, whose desire is to stimulate thought, generate opinion, and encourage "conversation" and debate among those of you who may choose to participate in these discussions.
